Tokyo Anime Fair 2009Alright, I'll be talking about what happened today so if you want to read it, enjoy. Those who don't want to read it, you can just skip or not read it at all ... So anyway, here you go:
Ok the lines were so freakin' long! Seriously! But what was interesting was that we saw some non-japanese cosplayers and their outfits were pretty awesome. Especially one that plays the girl in Hellsing Forgot the name of the character ... because she was carrying a really long gun. So anyway back to the lines. We were waiting in line outside, and once we got inside, there was another long line. So we pretty much waited in line to be in the line that was inside a line ... At least the line moved pretty fast.
So anyway, once we got inside, to the fair, it was FREE STUFF GALORE! So ... many ... flyers ... I mean the Japanese are so nice when handing out the flyers for a certain anime, you couldn't help but take it. I got some free bags to put all of them in too. Haha.
There weren't as many cosplayers as I thought, but there were still some pretty good ones. Off course, the guys in the anime club just went off and took pictures of maids. Men and manly urges. Oh well.
The funny thing that happened throughout the Anime Fair was that half of the group would get separated and lost through the crowds. But there was a time where we just split up and go to where we want to go.
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PART OF THE TRIP was seeing the voice actors of AXIS POWERS HETALIA! That's right. I saw them! Well ... only two which made me sad. I just recently got into that series, and I AM IN LOVE WITH IT, well the anime mostly. I still need to read some more of the web comics. Ok, the two voice actors that showed up were ITALY and BRITAIN. It was funny because me and my friends recognized Italy's voice since he said "PAAAASTAAAA!" and it was sooooooooo cute, and it took us a while to recognize Britain's voice. I wish I could take their pictures, but they told us that we cant ... which also made me said. Oh well, that was still totally worth the standing and waiting.
Ok, things I bought at the Anime Fair. I wanted to buy soooo many things but I only brought 4000 yen with me. So I got me two Axis Powers Hetalia small figures in a case. One is Japan, and the other was originally Estonia, but one of my friends had America, so I asked if we could trade and she said yes. So I have Japan and America! She's really nice ^.^ I also got me a Junjou Romantica card set, which I thought was like you know those solitaire sets, but it turns out that there's a card game based on that anime. And then ~Hinata-Rox bought me a Vampire Knight fan. Aww thank you my better brother :>
So overall I LOVED THE TRIP TO DEATH. This made me realize that I should start coming to the Anime Club meets every monday at the Teen Center. I heard that we'll be taking more trips with the Teen Center, so I can't wait for that 8> I would love to show you pictures, but I don't want most of my dA to be filled up with photos, so if yuo have my myspace, I'll be posting those there. Sorry, I have to know you personally to get my myspace okay?
